Portsea is on the Mornington Peninsula and is a 90 min drive south of Melbourne with buses stopping right outside our front door. Portsea is conveniently located with shops and the famous Portsea Hotel just across the road from IDC Scuba. The marine wilderness of Portsea Pier and the nearby Port Phillip Heads offers world class diving and snorkelling for the novice to the experienced diver.
Being in Portsea, IDC Scuba is situated in the heart of diving in Victoria and is a short walk from Portsea Pier where our charter boat departs taking you to all the dives inside and outside the Heads. From World War 1 submarines to early 19th century ship wrecks; magnificent drop-offs; reefs abundant with fish life; scallops; crayfish plus much more. Melbourne has over 80 dive sites to choose from and IDC Scuba, with their extensive knowledge of these dive locations, can guide you to all of them.
