We have a 'green' approach to our environment hence the Hideaway is located in a shady, relaxed orchard with vineyard views. Heating is via an environmentally-friendly gas log fire while ceiling fans in all rooms plus generous quantities of insulation avoids the need for air conditioning.
On arrival at the Hideaway celebrate with a bottle of estate wine and no more pressing an engagement than the sheer bliss of lying in the air spa bath, slipping into a robe provided and curling up by the fire to watch a DVD from the selection supplied while sipping a glass of award-winning estate wines discounted from cellar door prices to guests.
Dine out at one of the local award-winning restaurants just a few minutes drive from us and be collected by a local shuttle service and allow a greater indulgence of the other superb Mornington Peninsula wines.
After a relaxing night in the huge bed, perhaps with a late night movie or sport on the wall mounted flat screen panel in your bedroom, enjoy the all-inclusive gourmet breakfast hamper cooked by yourselves to your requirements.The included 'English' breakfast is a sumptuous feast - a gourmet basket of local produce. A loaf of fresh baked bread and freshly laid eggs by 'Libby' and 'Catty' (who live behind the B&B)is accompanied by all you could desire to cook at your leisure in the fully equipped kitchen or outside, under the verandah, on the BBQ.
Walk off this sumptuous meal along the wetland paths, wandering by the creek or investigating the cherry orchards of our neighbour - Ellisfield Farm - famous for their cherries, cherry wine and home-made produce, on whose property you will be a welcome guest. Visit their alpacas,Chinese geese, Anglo-Indian goats and black sheep and organize to pick cherries in the season to make a great hour long circuit.
